Job Posting Description:

This is a Hybrid role #LI-Hybrid

Secondment/Contract Duration: Up to 12 Months

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Data Integrity and Analysis FSM, you will help ensure the seamless migration of our legacy Merchandising data into our new ERP and supporting systems. You will collaborate with several internal and external partners to understand requirements, analyze, cleans data, and support the setup of Master data in SAP. You will also support the migration of operational data to the new technology platforms. Your expertise in merchandising analysis, data analytics and data migration will help optimize the implementation of our new systems and supporting processes, while maintaining data integrity and process efficiency throughout the transition. Your in-depth knowledge of Merchandising data and experience in process analysis is essential in supporting project decisions. Your demonstrated experience working on large projects, proven background in data management in ERP systems, expertise in master data management, and the skills in support continuous improvement opportunities will contribute to the enhancements of our future state Merchandising operations.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Master Data and operational Data Migration:
    • Support the migration of master data and operational data from legacy systems to SAP and other systems.
    • Work with stakeholders analyzing and documenting future merchandising data structures.
    • Support the data mapping and transformation plans to align with SAP, Blue Yonder, and other future state systems.
    • Work with Business users to cleans legacy data and ensure data accuracy and integrity during transfer from legacy systems to new platforms, including data validation using multiple tools to execute this task in a fast-paced environment.
    • Collaborate with IT, data engineering team, and business units to facilitate the migration process.
    • Implement and enforce Master Data governance, policies and procedures.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data migration processes, mappings, and transformations. Provide regular status updates and reports to project stakeholders.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
  • Merchandising Analysis:
    • Conduct comprehensive analyses of merchandising data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Generate reports and dashboards to support merchandising management and strategic decision-making.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to enhance merchandising efficiency.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Develop and recommend process improvements to streamline data management and merchandising operations.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support and Training:
    • Provide support and training to internal users on SAP master data management practices and merchandising processes.
    • Assist in the development and documentation of best practices and standard operating procedures.
    • Act as the Master Data SME, answering questions and supporting requests, and developing solutions for the business.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in data management, Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. Familiarity with ADMM data migration and integration tools is a definite asset.
  • Expert level demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Access, Visio, and SQL server.
  • Experience with SAP, including master data management and reporting functions.
  • Experience in data analysis and process improvement.
  • Commitment to ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout the migration process.
  • Some experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Experience in data conversion and migration processes would be an asset.
