Our product is beverage alcohol. We are searching for temporary fixed term Warehouse Workers to join our team. We need reliable and hardworking people who can work their shift on their feet. We prize safety, speed, accuracy and enthusiasm. Above all else, we love Warehouse Workers who don’t mind lifting heavy things.

The Job

• Pick, assemble, and place store orders on pallets
• Check skids
• Operate power equipment – after training, of course
• Grab product for our Quality Assurance lab to test
• Fill out dock sheets
• Check purchase orders
• Clean up… stuff drops on occasion, and we all pitch in to be safe

Our Shifts and Pay

• We operate Monday to Saturday. Our busy season is April 1st to January 1st.
• There is a day shift (8am to 4:00 p.m.), an afternoon shift (4pm to 12:00 a.m.), and a midnight shift (12am to 8:00 a.m.). We rotate shifts and let’s be honest, you get mostly afternoon and midnight shifts.
• The pay rate will be $16.10 per hour effective April 1, 2020. We are unionized, which means you pay union dues.
• We expect you to provide us with a criminal record check that was issued within the last 6 months – we’ll give you more information at the right time.

What You Need to Know About the Job

• It’s a physical job. We load and unload cases of beer, wine, spirits and cider that weigh between 40 lbs (18 kg if you prefer the metric system) and 60 lbs (27 kg) for the shift – it is repetitive movement.
• We stand for most of the shift. We reach, climb, bend, twist, and walk.
• We wear Canadian Safety Association (CSA) approved safety footwear.
• We need people who speak and read English, and are good at working with numbers. Number testing is part of the hiring but don’t let that scare you off!
• We love college and university students, people who want a second job or are currently out of work. That said, we welcome all types of workers
