Are you passionate about using your expertise to lead full project management lifecycle, putting customer satisfaction at the forefront? Reporting to the PMO Lead, Project Management Office, you will work with clients at all levels from department managers to LCBO senior leaders as a trusted advisor, delivering value across the organization.

About the Role
- You will manage the delivery of simultaneous projects of varying complexity, with an emphasis on Infrastructure projects from initiation through closure, applying the disciplined PMI Project Management methodology.
- Ensure projects are delivered on budget, within timelines, and are meeting project goals.
- Lead large project teams, comprised of SMEs from IT, partnering Divisions, 3rd party resources and external service providers.
- Manage project financials, conduct detailed resource capacity forecasting, implement mitigation strategies for resource capacity issues.
- Cultivate relationships in a matrix organization, and work with partners to coordinate the gathering of requirements and stakeholder involvement within the project governance.
- Determine critical metrics and success criteria within the impacted areas. Perform analysis of benefit, cost and risks, and monitor them through the project lifecycle.
- Manage dependencies and competing priorities through planning, prioritization, conflict resolution, escalation, and proactive planning.
- Mentor and provide coaching to team members and monitor team performance.
- Develop procurement documents, including Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Quotation RFQ), evaluate responses, and lead IT system and services selection activities.
- Working in a multi-functional environment, you will communicate with all levels of the organization ensuring sound vendor and contract management. Setting clear expectations, build internal and external partnerships and hold people accountable.
- Provide impactful leadership to project implementation teams and SMEs
About You
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology, Business, or equivalent training and experience
- 5+ years of experience implementing complex technology infrastructure projects, managing project teams with at least 10-15 team members including Architects, Developers, Business Analysts, Infrastructure Engineering and Testing Teams and 3rd party service providers.
- Demonstrated experience implementing distributed solutions, including SaaS, PaaS and IaaS.
- Understanding of Infrastructure and technology domains (Infrastructure and Networking, Cloud Computing, Server and Storage systems, Datacenter Management, Cybersecurity, Telecommunication and Architecture) to evaluate complex project risks.
- Experience leading Change Management activities in a large organization.
- 5+ years of experience driving mitigation / contingency discussions.
- Experience directly managing project financials including forecasting, managing budget adjustments, reporting on actuals and variances to forecast.
- Solid grasp of business and technology frameworks including Strategy, Governance, Business Analysis, Project Management, QA/QC, DevOps, Product development, SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Project Management Certification (PMP) in good standing is a definite asset. Candidates with CSM, ACP, SAFe and Risk Management certification are preferred.
- Experience using SharePoint and MS Office (Excel, Power Point and Project), with extensive experience with MS Project and Project Online.
