Are you passionate about shaping the future of IT Audit? Join us as a Senior Manager of IT Audit and bolster technology resilience and agility at one of Ontario’s most iconic organizations. Reporting to the Director IT Audit, you will help develop the annual IT audit plan, lead and execute IT audits including IT general controls (ITGC) testing work and support non-IT audits with technology audit expertise as needed within Internal Audit Services (IAS).
We are looking for a strategic thinker who can effectively collaborate with stakeholders, support Director on optimizing the staffing load and managing third-party co-source arrangements for IT audit work and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. You also need to address both existing systems and new technologies arising from business transformation initiatives.

About the Role
· Develop and maintain a risk-based IT audit plan, identify and assess IT risks across the organization, including emerging technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
· Lead and manage complex IT audits, assess the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls related to IT technology, applications, data, third party and projects.
· Communicate audit results and provide expert advice on IT risk management and control strategies to management. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
· Conduct performance evaluations and foster a team culture of continuous learning and growth.
· Support Director IT Audit to develop and execute the annual business plan for IAS as it relates to IT Audit.
· Stay on the cutting edge of industry standards and frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST, ISO27001) while continuously enhancing your knowledge of emerging technologies, trends, risks and audit practices.
About You
· An IT audit expert with 8+ years of auditing experience, including at least 3 years in a people-leadership role within an internal audit function.
· Strong people management, coaching/development skills and project management, planning, and organizational skills.
· Proficient in auditing ITGC, application, data, third party, technology controls, and project audits.
· Experience applying the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards and risk-based auditing practices, techniques, processes, and methodologies to the performance and review of audits.
· Strong working knowledge of Teammate+, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio and SharePoint.
· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related field and CISA certified. Any of the following certifications would be beneficial: CISSP, CRISC, CIA
