This role is Hybrid #LI-Hybrid
Co-op Contract Duration: January 2025-April 2025
Under the supervision of the Director, Accessibility, the Accessibility Associate Co-op Student will support the LCBO Accessibility team through value-add deliverables including developing reports on compliance levels within divisions and maintaining important accessibility artefacts. You will also assist departments through activities that promote a culture of inclusion and belonging and coordinating learning activities related to accessibility.

About the Role
- Help coordinate several accessibility projects, including virtual and in-person training sessions.
- Update AODA program plans, including milestones, resources, and project documentation, requirements, and risk tracking. Collaboration with business leads to ensure compliance reporting to program plans.
- Attend virtual and in-person training events to support facilitator(s) with room setup and coordination of session.
- Monitor and update accessibility requirements to reflect legislation, best practices, and organizational direction.
- Update Accessibility team web pages and manage our team's site.
- Conduct research to find useful and accurate information that helps the team accomplish the project goals.
- Present research findings in a way that is influential and has impact for the team.
- Monitor the Accessibility Inbox in Outlook and respond to general learning related inquiries and escalate to program leads.
- Coordinate meeting arrangements, take meeting minutes, set and distribute agendas, and book meetings.
- Partner with important partners in supporting the data gathering process.
- May help prepare memos, letters, charts, graphs, PowerPoint presentations, and other forms of correspondence and documentation.
About You
- Pursuing a post-secondary diploma in Human Resources, Accessibility, or related field. Must be either: registered in a co-op program, OR a Full-Time student returning to school in the same program following the work term, OR a Full-Time student requiring the work term or co-op placement to graduate.
- Previous Experience in human resources administration or accessibility programs.
- Knowledge of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act
- Ability to manage a high volume of paper and emails
- Working with others in a local organization/club (volunteer, student team, co-curricular activities, etc.) where teamwork skills and commitment to task / positive outcomes is required
- Researching skills.
