Secondment/Contract Duration: Up to 12 Months

Are you passionate about eCommerce with an eye for transformation? Reporting to the Senior Manager, eCommerce Merchandising, you will be the key onboarding and inventory specialist. This role works closely with the Merchandising, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to identify merchandising opportunities and onboard new products that will contribute to the sales and profit targets for the eCommerce business. In this role you will analyze and adjust the online product catalogue, providing the broadest assortment of beverage alcohol, while working towards the overall marketplace strategy.

About the Role

  • Support the development and execute the online merchandising strategy in your respective categories.
  • Execute the day-to-day tactics to achieve sales, conversion, average order value (AOV) and margin targets.
  • Support the development of on-site merchandising strategy and roadmap for key category initiatives.
  • Execute promotional and strategic content while working cross-functionally to trouble-shoot and operate day-to-day functioning of the business.
  • Report and analyze eCommerce sales, margin, conversion, AOV and onsite customer web metrics as it relates to your categories.
  • Manage assortment for the online channel including same day pick up and ongoing day-to-day purchases, onboard new categories and online exclusives weekly.
  • Ensure end-to-end success of assigned categories from online experience to customer fulfillment.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive and execute end-to-end customer journey.

About You

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Analysis, or related program.
  • Previous merchandising experience in retail and retail environments.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and multi-task skills.
  • Solid understanding of Retail and eCommerce metrics, merchandise planning and financial planning/budgeting experience using Google Analytics & Adobe Analytics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of Data Visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, R, Micro Strategy) is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to deal with confidential issues.
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
