Overview Of The Role

KX is hiring a Frontend / Low Code Developer to build responsive, high-performance UI components and support low-code development platforms. This is a contract role that contributes to AI and real-time analytics solutions, working closely with backend and product teams to deliver scalable and intuitive user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop UI components using TypeScript & Web Components
• Build and maintain VSCode extensions and plugins
• Ensure responsive, cross-browser compatible frontend performance
• Collaborate with backend developers and contribute to agile sprints
• Support development with low-code platforms (e.g., PowerApps, Mendix, OutSystems)

Skills

• Frontend Development: TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Web Components
• Tooling & Version Control: VSCode APIs, Git, GitHub, GitLab workflows
• DevOps & Agile: CI/CD pipelines, JIRA, agile sprint participation
• API & Integration: RESTful API consumption, backend collaboration
• Low-Code Platforms: Familiarity with tools like PowerApps, Mendix, or OutSystems
• Testing: Exposure to UI testing tools such as Jest or Cypress
• AI/ML Readiness: Comfortable integrating frontends with AI/ML-powered services
• Domain Knowledge: Experience or exposure to financial services and real-time data applications

Essential Experience

• 3–6 years in frontend or low-code development
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
• Experience with Web Components and VSCode APIs
• Familiar with REST APIs, Git, JIRA, and CI/CD practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Hands-on with low-code platforms like PowerApps or Mendix
• Experience in UI testing, accessibility, or enterprise dashboard development
