About the role
The Analyst Relations Lead plays a strategic role in strengthening Kinaxis’ market credibility and competitive positioning through proactive engagement with key industry analysts. This role helps evolve Analyst Relations (AR) from a tactical coordination function to a strategic business partner capability that drives measurable impact across marketing, sales, product strategy, and executive positioning.
Working closely with the Head of Analyst Relations and cross-functional stakeholders, the Analyst Relations Lead will expand Kinaxis’ influence with top-tier analyst firms (Gartner, Forrester, IDC and others), support major analyst evaluations, and translate analyst insight into actionable business intelligence that informs go-to-market strategy and revenue growth.
This role requires a modern AR professional who operates with business acumen, executive presence, and a strong understanding of enterprise software markets.

What you will do
- Develop and execute proactive engagement strategies with priority analysts to strengthen Kinaxis’ visibility and influence.
- Support and manage participation in major analyst evaluations (e.g., Magic Quadrants, Waves, MarketScapes), ensuring accurate and differentiated positioning.
- Prepare executives and subject matter experts for high-impact analyst briefings and inquiries, including narrative development and messaging refinement.
- Synthesize analyst research, inquiries, and informal feedback into actionable insights for Product, Marketing, Sales, Corporate Strategy, and Executive teams.
- Benchmark Kinaxis against competitors and evolving market narratives to identify positioning gaps and opportunities.
- Align AR plans to measurable business outcomes, including pipeline influence, perception shifts, and competitive differentiation.
- Collaborate across Marketing, Product, Sales, Investor Relations, and executive leadership to align analyst engagement to strategic priorities.
- Support executive engagement strategies and contribute to Analyst Day and other strategic analyst events.
- Maintain and optimize analyst coverage mapping, engagement tracking, and performance reporting, evolving metrics from activity-based reporting to impact-based measurement.
- Contribute to scalable AR processes, templates, and playbooks, including exploration of GenAI-enabled efficiencies in insight capture and analysis.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- 5–7+ years of progressive experience in Analyst Relations, Product Marketing, Competitive Intelligence, Strategy, or a related function within enterprise software or SaaS.
- Experience engaging with tier-one analyst firms such as Gartner, Forrester, and IDC.
- Demonstrated experience supporting major analyst evaluations and executive-level briefings.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect analyst positioning to revenue and pipeline outcomes.
- Ability to distill complex technology and business information into clear, concise, and compelling messaging.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and navigate cross-functional environments.
- Analytical mindset with experience translating research and market intelligence into strategic recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with executive-level presence.
