Role Overview
The Associate Solution Consultant role is designed for early-career professionals and recent graduates who are excited to begin a customer-facing consulting career in supply chain planning. This position is ideal for candidates with less than three years of professional work experience who are eager to build deep functional expertise, learn modern planning technologies, and work directly with customers to deliver measurable business outcomes.
What you will do
- Participate in deep-dive customer business requirements discovery sessions and develop requirements specifications documentation
- Perform solution configuration activities under the guidance of senior consultants
- Deliver training to customer end users and support change adoption
- Develop an understanding of supply chain industry trends and benchmark customers against industry best practices
- Ensure the customer is obtaining business benefits as captured in the business case
- Support validation and testing of solutions and capture structured user feedback
- Support data management and integration activities across customer systems
This role offers a structured growth path with opportunities to progress into more advanced consulting and solution design responsibilities over time.
What we are looking for
Minimum Qualifications
- Recent graduate or early-career professional with less than 3 years of relevant work experience
- BS or MS in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field
- Strong academic performance and demonstrated interest in supply chain or analytics-focused roles
Preferred Qualifications
- Practical experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or Planning through internships, co-ops, or full-time roles
- Demonstrated understanding of core supply chain concepts such as forecasting, inventory management, MRP, and scheduling
Skills & Attributes
- Strong interest in customer-facing, consultative roles
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Solid foundation in supply chain engineering concepts, including forecasting, inventory management, MRP, and scheduling
- Comfortable working with data, systems, and new technologies in a fast-paced environment
- Highly self-motivated with a desire to learn, grow, and take ownership early in your career
- Interest in working with AI-enabled technologies related to supply and demand planning
Additional Information
- Must be willing to relocate and work from our Irving, Texas office
- Willingness to travel (approximately 25% on average, with occasionally higher travel based on project needs)
- Ability to work efficiently from client locations when required
