Keysight Technologies is seeking a motivated High-Speed Digital, Optical & RF/Microwave Solutions Engineer to support and grow our business across Vietnam's rapidly expanding electronics manufacturing and semiconductor ecosystem.

In this customer-facing applications role, you will work closely with manufacturing, process, quality, and engineering teams to deploy and optimize test and measurement solutions for, high-speed digital interconnects, RF/microwave devices, optical transceivers and semiconductor manufacturing applications.

As a trusted technical resource, you will help customers improve production efficiency, measurement accuracy, product quality, and time-to-market through the effective use of Keysight's industry-leading test and measurement solutions. You will support customers throughout the product lifecycle, from New Product Introduction (NPI) and process validation through manufacturing ramp and high-volume production.


Responsibilities


1. Customer Technical Support

  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for Keysight's High-Speed Digital, Optical and RF/Microwave solutions. Serve as the primary technical interface for customers across manufacturing, process engineering, quality engineering and R&D organizations. Understand customer manufacturing and test challenges and recommend appropriate test solutions and methodologies. Assist customers with system installation, configuration, integration, and deployment.

2. Manufacturing & Production Test Applications

  • Support production test, NPI and manufacturing deployment activities for:
    • Optical Transceivers (400G, 800G, 1.6T)
    • Active and Passive Cable Interconnects
    • High-Speed Digital Interfaces (PAM4, NRZ)
    • Ethernet and PCIe technologies
    • RF/Microwave components and subsystems
    • RF Power Amplifiers
    • Filters, Duplexers and Multiplexers
    • Mixers, Converters and RF Front-End Modules
    • Semiconductor and Electronics Manufacturing Applications
  • Help customers establish efficient and repeatable test methodologies for high-volume manufacturing. Support test station development, automation, validation, and manufacturing release.

3. Yield Improvement & Test Optimization

  • Analyze measurement results and support troubleshooting of yield, correlation, and test repeatability issues. Assist customers in identifying root causes of production problems affecting throughput, quality, and cost. Recommend best practices to reduce test time while maintaining measurement integrity. Support gauge studies, correlation analysis, GR&R activities, and test system qualification.

4. Solution Deployment & Automation

  • Develop and support automated test solutions using Keysight instrumentation and software platforms. Create test procedures, application notes, work instructions, and deployment documentation. Assist customers with automation, data collection, and manufacturing database integration. Support implementation of statistical process control (SPC) and manufacturing analytics methodologies.

5. RF/Microwave Technical Support

  • Support customer applications involving:
    • S-Parameter characterization
      • Network analysis
      • Spectrum analysis
      • Signal generation
      • Vector signal analysis
      • RF component characterization
      • Antenna and wireless device testing
  • Guide customers on calibration techniques, measurement uncertainty, and best measurement practices. Troubleshoot RF measurement and production test challenges.

6. Business & Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales teams to identify customer opportunities and support technical engagements. Participate in customer demonstrations, evaluations, and proof-of-concept activities. Collaborate with product management and R&D teams to communicate customer requirements and market trends. Maintain awareness of industry developments in AI datacenter technologies, optical communications, wireless connectivity, and electronics manufacturing.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 3 to 8 years of experience in Applications Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, Product Engineering, or Technical Support.
  • Experience working with test and measurement instrumentation in a manufacturing, engineering, or laboratory environment. Previous experience with a test and measurement equipment supplier or electronics manufacturing company is highly desirable
  • Understanding of at least one of the following areas:
    • Optical Communications
    • High-Speed Digital Systems
    • RF/Microwave Engineering
  • Familiarity with production test methodologies and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages such as Python, MATLAB, C/C++, LabVIEW, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Mandarin language capability is advantageous due to regional customer interactions.
  • Willingness to travel within Vietnam and internationally when required.
