Keysight Technologies is seeking an experienced and customer-focused RF/uW Solutions Engineer to support strategic customers across Vietnam's rapidly growing AI datacenter, telecommunications, wireless device, and electronics manufacturing industries. This role focuses on enabling customers to accelerate product development and optimize high-volume manufacturing (HVM) test environments for AI datacenter interconnects, active/passive cables, wireless devices, and cellular modems.

As a senior technical expert, you will work closely with ODMs, OEMs, contract manufacturers, semiconductor suppliers, and wireless technology companies to deploy advanced test and measurement solutions. You will support customers throughout the entire product lifecycle, from design validation and NPI through production ramp and high-volume manufacturing.

This position requires strong expertise in RF and wireless technologies, manufacturing test methodologies, automation, yield improvement, and production optimization. Given the significant engagement with regional engineering teams and manufacturing operations, advanced Mandarin communication skills are essential.

1. AI Datacenter Interconnect & Cable Manufacturing Test

• Lead technical engagements supporting:
  • AI Datacenter Active Electrical Cables (AEC)
  • Active Optical Cables (AOC)
  • Direct Attach Copper (DAC) solutions
  • High-speed interconnects for AI and cloud infrastructure
  • Ethernet, PCIe, InfiniBand and emerging datacenter standards
  • 400G, 800G and 1.6T interconnect technologies
• Support customers in:
  • Manufacturing test architecture development
  • Production test deployment
  • NPI qualification and production ramp
  • High-volume manufacturing optimization
  • Yield analysis and throughput improvement
  • Test cost reduction initiatives

2. Wireless Device & Modem Manufacturing Solutions

• Provide technical leadership for production testing of:
  • Cellular devices and smartphones
  • 4G LTE, 5G NR and evolving wireless technologies
  • Wireless modules and IoT products
  • Customer Premise Equipment (CPE)
  • Wireless routers and gateways
  • Embedded cellular modems
  • RF front-end modules
  • Connectivity devices supporting Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies
• Support customers in:
  • Design Verification (DVT)
  • Production Verification (PVT)
  • Manufacturing test development
  • Factory acceptance and deployment
  • RF calibration methodologies
  • Regulatory and carrier certification test requirements

3. High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM) Leadership

• Serve as a trusted advisor to manufacturing and product engineering teams by:
  • Establishing scalable production test methodologies
  • Driving manufacturing efficiency improvements
  • Optimizing test coverage and test time
  • Supporting multi-site correlation activities
  • Leading GR&R and Measurement System Analysis initiatives
  • Improving first-pass yield and manufacturing quality
  • Implementing SPC and data-driven manufacturing practices
  • Supporting factory automation initiatives
• Work directly with manufacturing, test engineering, quality, and operations teams to deliver production-ready solutions that improve yield, throughput, and product quality.

4. RF & Microwave Technical Consulting

• Support customer applications involving:
  • Vector Network Analysis
  • Spectrum Analysis
  • Signal Generation
  • Vector Signal Analysis
  • Wireless transmitter and receiver testing
  • RF component characterization
  • Antenna measurements
  • OTA testing methodologies
  • Modem validation and troubleshooting
  • RF production calibration
• Provide guidance on:
  • Measurement uncertainty
  • Production correlation
  • Calibration methodologies
  • RF troubleshooting
  • Test automation best practices

5. Automation & Software Integration

• Develop and deploy automated manufacturing test solutions using:
  • Python
  • C/C++
  • LabVIEW
  • MATLAB
  • SCPI-based instrument control
• Support:
  • Manufacturing execution system (MES) integration
  • Database connectivity
  • Automated data collection and reporting
  • Test station deployment
  • Factory automation initiatives

6. Strategic Customer Engagement

• Partner closely with:
  • ODM/OEM engineering organizations
  • EMS and contract manufacturers
  • Telecommunications companies
  • Semiconductor manufacturers
  • Datacenter infrastructure suppliers
• Work alongside Keysight sales teams to:
  • Identify growth opportunities
  • Conduct executive-level customer engagements
  • Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations
  • Lead evaluations and proof-of-concept activities
  • Influence customer test strategies

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in RF, wireless, manufacturing test, product engineering, applications engineering, or production engineering.
• Strong knowledge of wireless communication technologies including LTE and 5G.
• Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Experience working with wireless device manufacturers, modem suppliers, telecom equipment providers, or electronics manufacturing services (EMS) companies.
• Strong understanding of RF test methodologies and production test optimization.
• Experience with automated test systems and software development.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Capable of engaging with both engineering teams and senior customer management.
• Experience with AI datacenter interconnect technologies.
• Experience testing Active Electrical Cables (AEC), Active Optical Cables (AOC), DAC, Ethernet, PCIe or InfiniBand products.
• Familiarity with wireless modem development and cellular certification workflows.
• Experience using Keysight wireless and RF test solutions.
• Knowledge of manufacturing analytics, SPC, and yield management processes.
• Experience supporting multinational customers across Greater China and Southeast Asia.
