We have a position available in our Winnersh Service Centre for a Trainee/Entry Level Repair Engineer. This will involve Diagnosing, Repair and Validation of Electronic/RF Test & Measurement equipment to maintain functionality and accuracy.


Responsibilities
  • Service/Repair and validation of both Keysight and Non-Keysight Test and Measurement equipment (Network Analysers, Spectrum Analysers, Signal Generator, Oscilloscopes, PSU’s etc).
  • Performing routine tasks using defined procedures and technical duties that may require use of judgement.
  • Solving a broad range of technical problems of varying scope and complexity.
  • Understand customer requirements through written and face to face communications.
  • Travel to customer sites <10% performing on site support

Qualifications
  • GCSE (Maths, Science & English) at Grade C (or equivalent) or above.
  • Certifications in an Engineering discipline (Level 3 NVQ).
  • IT knowledge (Windows, Office: Word, Excel, Power-Point etc.).
  • Good communication skills in English (both written & verbal).
  • Ability to recognise and anticipate problems and search proactively for solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and proactive attitude.
  • Able to obtain UK security clearance.
  • Technical experience within Electronics, RF, Test & Measurement Equipment (would be an advantage).
  • Electronic Assembly/Test/Diagnostics (would be an advantage).
