About the Job:

Put your experience to work as an Application Engineer in the dynamic and challenging environment of Keysight's Application and Technical Support team, with focus on High Speed Digital.

Every day you will have the opportunity to impact the success of multiple customers as they work on the forefront of technology. To stay on top of your career you will be provided access to the breadth of Keysight's electronic measurement equipment, training with our product development teams, and partner closely with the R&D and the sales teams across Keysight.

You will be trained to help Keysight's customers select and utilize the right solutions for their electrical and electronics testing needs across a breadth of industries including automotive, wireless, aerospace, education, and semiconductor.

About the Team:

You will be part of our European Keysight Technical and Application Support team, supporting our customers and strategic partners across > 15 countries; and working in collaboration with our engineering and product development teams to resolve a variety of highly complex technical issues.


Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective application support to Keysight customers and sales partners, assisting in the resolution of technical issues of varying scope and complexity.
  • Guide customers in the use of Keysight products, including support for software automation, and assist in solving complex technical challenges.
  • Track and document customer interactions and case resolutions using Keysight’s case management system, ensuring all customer commitments are met.
  • Share technical expertise by authoring and publishing technical articles and documentation.
  • Deliver in-depth product demonstrations directly to customers or remotely.
  • Leverage post-sales engagements to identify broader customer needs and generate highly qualified leads for the sales organization.
  • Work with key performance indicators (KPIs) such as case resolution time, customer satisfaction scores, and support efficiency, contributing to continuous individual and team improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics or related field.
  • 3/5+ years of experience in application engineering or technical support roles within the test and measurement industry.
  • Proven experience in using equipment such as Oscilloscopes, High-Speed Oscilloscopes, BERTs (Bit Error Rate Testers), AWGs (Arbitrary Waveform Generators) and understanding of high-speed digital technologies such as signal integrity, timing analysis.
  • Protocol-level debugging and familiarity with digital standards ( HDMI, USB, DDR, MIPI, Ethernet, PCIe) is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with general-purpose test instruments, including digital multimeters (DMM), data acquisition systems (DAQ), function generators, power supplies, electronic loads, counters, oscilloscopes and related automation software.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical subjects over the phone and through email. An advanced level of English language is required.
  • Committed to continuous improvement through data-driven analysis and process optimization.

Desired qualifications

  • Understanding of generation, demodulation, and analysis of digital communication signals.
  • Ability to develop and troubleshoot automation scripts using languages such as Python, MATLAB, or SCPI command sets.
