Responsibilities
Job Description
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to manage project scope, schedules, cost, risks, and quality commitments.
- Hardware and Software development for EV charging and energy storage/conversion NPI or custom solutions.
- Maintain and continuously improve internal technical standards, document control processes, and data management systems.
- Ensure all engineering outputs comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support pre-sales activities, including providing inputs for System configuration and software architecture, Statements of Work (SoWs), and Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
- Work in partnership with the Regulatory team to ensure product compliance with safety and certification standards.
- Participate in design reviews and risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in EV charging and energy storage/conversion technologies.
- Involve in the company at tradeshows, customer training sessions, and webinars.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Prior internship experience in manufacturing processes and test engineering is highly desirable.
- Understanding of the EV charging or power conversion knowledge is considered an advantage.
- Understanding of relevant industry standards (e.g. IEC 61851, ISO 15118) is a significant asset.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for supporting presales technical activities and engaging with customers.
- Proven ability to independently develop innovative engineering solutions.
- Strong creative and critical thinking skills, coupled with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in stakeholder management.
- Willingness to travel as required.
