Responsibilities

Keysight is looking for an experienced sales professional with the initiative to identify and close sales opportunities within a geographic territory and a set of established accounts focused on Automotive Segment. The Account Manager – Automotive will be responsible for driving revenue growth and strategic account development across automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and ecosystem partners in India. This position is focused on growing sales of Keysight’s electronic measurement products and taking share of competitors in the respective areas of responsibility. This professional should be able to create new opportunities and win business, develop strong customer relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction, are key aspects of this position and must work closely with Solution Engineering Organization. The Territory Account Manager position is for a highly motivated sales professional with responsibilities for:

  • Own and grow assigned automotive OEM and Tier-1 accounts across India.
  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue, pipeline, and growth targets.
  • Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and long-term engagements.
  • Understand customer roadmaps for EV, ADAS, autonomous driving, connectivity (5G/C-V2X), radar, power electronics.
  • Work closely with Application Engineers, Channel Partners, Services, and Global/Regional Teams.
  • Developing and maintaining assigned account/territory plans which outline how sales goals will be met on an ongoing basis.
  • Regularly identifying new opportunities within assigned accounts/geography and applying the appropriate action and resources to win the business.
  • Building a strong sales funnel that shows consistent growth with a steady flow of sales resulting from it.
  • Driving the sales process, managing opportunities, and complex issues that require leadership and coordination with technical staff, divisions, and other organizations.
  • Conducting regular status and strategy meetings with the customer's senior management to understand their needs and link them to Keysight’s product/service strategies.
  • Creating demand for Keysight’s products and services.
  • Developing and building long-term relationships and loyalty with customers while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

This position requires at least 8-10 years of sales experience with an emphasis on winning competitive sales through exceptional account and time management.

  • Electronics & Communication /Electrical Engineering or equivalent education.
  • Experience in handling Automotive Industry and Strong understanding of automotive electronics and validation workflows.
  • Strong understanding of electronic test and measurement applications.
  • Good knowledge of RF & Microwave Products, Regenerative Power Supplies and EMI EMC Solutions.
  • Consultative and solution-oriented selling mindset.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and internal teammates.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Sound business judgment with organization & negotiation skills.
  • Effective presentation and problem-solving skills.
