Job Title: Market Intelligence Analyst
Responsibilities
- Provide critical market Intelligence for decision making purposes
- Able to effectively estimate the product demand, market growth, and market trends based on key indicators in the respective markets/industries
- Monitor market trends and potential opportunities
- Collect and use relevant quantitative and qualitative data for the target market
- Establish and implement processes to collect, analyze, and disseminate market information
- Maintain market intelligence analysis (competitors and customers), and implement effective processes to keep them up to date and accurate
- Develop and maintain a database of market indicators, sales results, annual market size, and detailed competitors volume size
- Develop and maintain a database of competitors' information and assessment of competitors profile
- Collect relevant and timely competitive intelligence information through a range of sources (internal and external to the company) for specific business needs
- Study and estimate the nature and likely success of a potential strategy changes available to a competitor
- Predict competitor’s probable responses to important strategic moves
- Understand competitors’ potential reactions to changes in key industry and environmental factors
- Provide qualitative market/competitor analysis and benchmarking
- Analyze and track market segment trends, growth forecasts, and market Indicators, and communicate to the relevant stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering with minimum 6 years working experience in related field
- Strong competency in research, competitive-intelligence analysis and forecasting, or related experience
- Good understanding of Test and Measurement (T&M) products is preferred
- Excellent writing and editing skills set
- Knowledge of business process terminology
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Keen reader, researcher, and problem solver
- Excellent work ethic, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and a good team player
