The BOLT and Wafer Fab Operations Team is looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to help drive our efforts by identifying trends and building dashboards that support data-driven decision-making. This role is crucial for providing insights that shape business strategies, ensuring our data is accurate, accessible, and actionable. The ideal candidate will work closely with a dynamic, fast-moving team to extract data, analyze patterns, and deliver insights that inform key business decisions and future initiatives.
Responsibilities
Software & Tool Development
- Assist in designing, developing, testing, and deploying software applications or tools.
- Build lightweight automation scripts (e.g., Python, Excel VBA) to streamline repetitive tasks.
- Support the development of digital twins or simulation models for process optimization.
Data Collection & Integration
- Gather and consolidate manufacturing data from systems such as MES, ERP, and manual logs.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure clean, reliable, and timely data availability.
Data Analysis & Visualization
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies.
- Create dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or Python libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn).
- Develop tools to support data-driven decision-making across engineering and operations.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and technical discussions.
- Document methodologies, tools, and findings in a clear and structured format.
- Share insights and best practices with broader teams.
Qualifications
Education & Technical Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or related field.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, SQL).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development tools.
- Familiarity with power BI
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
Soft Skills & Manufacturing Exposure
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, or Six Sigma is preferred.
- Ability to communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-starter with initiative and ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
