Responsibilities
- Mechanical engineering support to assembly lines for Box and Modular products:
- Resolving problems with parts and assemblies, which do not fit or function properly
- Reviewing and revising mechanical specifications when required
- Problem solving by identifying root cause and redesigning parts and assemblies, to achieve cost reduction, quality/yield improvement
- Understand Mechanical and Cosmetic requirements to meet customer expectation
- Perform mechanical part qualification and safety buyoff when needed
- Responsible for packaging buyoff
- Process engineering support from assembly, test, instrument Button Up until logistic submission:
- Responsible for production process flow setup for any newly added process or new product launch
- Resolving problems with production process to ensure smooth production flow without any impact to shipment revenue
- Identifying and initiating the design and fabrication of assembly tooling needed to improve quality and productivity
- Familiar with process routing for proper standard product costing and manufacturing lead time roll up
- BOM setup for material supply chain triggering and proper inventory backflush
- Understand ISO and ESD standards and requirements, develop and implement appropriate policies, procedures, and controls. Responsible for conducting regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance.
- Responsible for all quality documentation as required for the manufacturing process
- Execute Engineering change process for proper engineering change documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Manufacturing / Mechanical / Material / Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
