About the Job:

The role is to manage a sales team based in Germany addressing the Aerospace & Defense accounts. As part of the Keysight Go to Market strategy, this manager will be responsible for a team of account managers working on A&D accounts and will constantly thrive to develop these accounts, understanding their needs to grow the business.


Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow Keysight’s solutions within large Aerospace-Defense accounts.
  • Leadership: Lead a team of account managers, provide coaching and challenge to enable top line growth, with on-hand collaboration.
  • Quota Attainment: Leads the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed business targets through strategic selling, negotiation, and customer-centric solutions.
  • Business Management: Help identify, engage, and close new opportunities with A&D organizations. Ensure Sales Funnel & Forecast are carefully managed in the Sales systems.
  • Customer Engagement: Build trusted advisor relationships with Procurement, Project and Manufacturing teams as well as customer executives
  • Partner Collaboration: Work closely with system integrators, and strategic partners to drive joint sales efforts and maximize customer reach.
  • Technical Knowledge & Solution Selling: Develop a deep understanding of Aerospace & Defense Test and Measurement solutions to position Keysight’s solutions effectively.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Use current Aerospace & Defense networks and develop further the relationships with account executives. Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market requirements to provide customers with cutting-edge solutions.

Qualifications
  • University degree: Bachelor / Master’s in Electrical Engineering.
  • 8-10 years of sales experience as Account Manager in Test & Measurement.
  • 5 years of selling to Aerospace-Defense customers in Germany.
  • 2/3 years of sales team management experience would be preferred.
  • Valid European driver’s license.
  • Full German proficiency.
  • German citizenship is required due to the industry this position will be working in.
