Responsibilities
- Adheres to Keysight documented QA practices and standards
- Strong knowledge about tools and debug techniques
- Able to communicate in clear and concise manner with peers (QA/DEV/PM/Support groups)
- Responsible for one major feature: accurate effort estimation, progress tracking and status reporting, flag up any delays, able to suggest mitigation plans
- Able to sustain protocol/technology/product presentations (internal or external to customers).
- Works on moderate complexity issues requiring judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations.
- Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Some supervision needed on technical aspects, occasional mentoring for personal growth.
- Bugs: Root cause isolation, steps to reproduce, problem description, proper logs and files attached.
Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
No supervision needed on technical aspects, occasional mentoring for personal growth, ability to supervise other QAEs
Qualifications
- Understanding of various testing methodologies (functional, performance, security, etc.)
- Knowledge of software development life cycle and testing tools
- Experience with networking protocols and devices
- Experience with scripting and automation tools
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and collaboration
- Attention to detail and thoroughness
- Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
