Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Management: Manage and deepen relationships at all levels (engineers, project managers, executives) within a portfolio of strategic clients in the Defense sector.
  • Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Account Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic development plan (Business Plan) for each key account.
  • Activity Management: Ensure accurate and regular reporting and forecasting of your sales activities via our CRM.
  • Offer Preparation & Negotiation: Manage the entire sales cycle: from needs analysis, preparing and presenting technical-commercial offers, to leading negotiations to a successful close.
  • Events & Promotion: Organize and lead on-site customer events (technical seminars, product demonstrations) to promote our solutions and expertise.
  • Technical Collaboration: Work closely with our Application Engineers to build the most relevant technical solutions and champion Keysight's value proposition.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelors or Masters degree (or equivalent)
  • Experience: You have proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a business development role (e.g., Technical Sales Engineer, Account Manager) within a high-tech B2B environment (electronics, telecom, etc.).
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the Defense ecosystem, its key players, and its long sales cycles is essential.
  • Technical Skills: You have an excellent understanding of test and measurement technologies (e.g., RF, microwave, digital, communication protocols).
  • Sales Skills: You are a results-driven individual with strong skills in negotiation, complex solution selling, and closing deals.
  • Personal Attributes: Autonomous, proactive, and rigorous, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You know how to build trust and work effectively in a team.
  • Languages: Fluency in both French and English is required.
  • Security Clearance: A current defense security clearance would be a plus, or at a minimum, the eligibility to obtain one is required. French citizenship is required for this.
