Responsibilities
Primary Function
Tests, calibrates/validates and repairs electronic or analytical instruments, products and modules to maintain functionality and accuracy. Service is performed on Keysight products and/or products manufactured by another company. Engaged with Quality and Metrology (preferably as a signatory) and accomplished in RF disciplines. Work is typically performed at our premises but the successful candidate will be required to travel onsite for a few weeks at a time at a customer location. Interprets customer requirements and potential needs to meet customer satisfaction goals.
• Evaluates assignments and determines actions required
• Tasks involve analysis and new/ customized approaches
• Solves complex problems requiring breadth/ depth of knowledge of repair, calibration, refurbishment and preventative maintenance techniques/equipment, processes
• Service Tech with experience in RF (preferably > 18GHz) and capabilities in metrology (preferably a signatory / performing uncertainty calculations)
Qualifications
- Requires higher education or specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically minimum of 7 years relevant experience for entry to this level.
- Requires extensive knowledge and skills.
- Due to compliance requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), this position is primarily open only to US or Australian citizens willing to be vetted for NV1 Defence Clearance; any other nationalities may have to have some vetting for eligibility before being able to be considered for an interview.
