The Aerospace, Defense and Government Solutions (ADGS) team leverages Keysight’s full product portfolio to support customers in Radar, EW/EMSO, AD Comms, Space, and Satellite industries, as well as their supporting supply chains. To support our growth in this sector, we are seeking a technically oriented individual, based in Germany, with experience in Radar and EW/EMSO solutions to drive business development across the entire EMEA region.

As part of a multi-year strategic initiative to expand our footprint in Europe, this role will have a strong initial focus on the Electronic Warfare Advanced Solutions Platform (EWASP). The successful candidate will work closely with our international teams to build success across the entire EMEA region. This role has a direct and tangible impact on ADGS business results and involves close collaboration with engineering teams, customers, and regional sales. You will develop deep industry insights, craft high-value solutions, and build strong relationships across the ecosystem.


Responsibilities

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Identify and qualify target customers by collaborating with account managers and field application engineers.
  • Support EMEA business development team to track sovereign and regional defense programs to uncover new opportunities and align with industry trends.
  • Regularly meet with customers across EMEA with local account teams, to help uncover new opportunities in Radar and EW/EMSO, and position Keysight broad portfolio
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and post-project engagement.
  • Support marketing initiatives such as trade shows, seminars, and internal training sessions.
  • Attend industry trade events and conferences to gather insights on market trends, customer challenges, and emerging technologies.
  • Travel across the EMEA region to support this customer and industry engagement (approximately 30–40%).

Solution Development & Delivery

  • Work directly with customers to define business, technical, and project requirements.
  • Integrate Keysight’s products and services into comprehensive, customer-facing solutions.
  • Coordinate technical demonstrations to showcase Keysight capabilities.
  • Liaise with engineering teams to align technical capabilities with customer needs.

Internal Collaboration & Strategy

  • Collaborate with EMEA account managers to develop and execute effective engagement strategies.
  • Conduct internal reviews with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on solution offerings.
  • Share successful engagement strategies to expand business within customer communities.
  • Provide internal training and briefings on ADGS solutions to account teams.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years in technical business development, sales engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
  • In-depth knowledge of RF technologies and/or test engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with test and measurement instrumentation such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Strong understanding of core Electrical Engineering principles.
  • Experience in electromagnetic spectrum operations (EMSO), Electronic Warfare (EW), radar systems, or satellite communications is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to identify customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface, negotiate, and build trust with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Track record of driving business growth through strategic customer engagement and solution development.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.

The ideal location for this position is Germany; however, other locations within the EU will also be considered.
