Responsibilities

The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) located on Keysight’s campus in Santa Rosa, CA exists to provide high precision mechanical solutions that enable the capabilities of Keysight’s industry leading electronic measurement equipment. As a manufacturing engineer you will develop and sustain manufacturing processes utilizing cutting edge technologies to achieve micron level tolerances in precision machining. Working closely with R&D on microwave and mm wave applications you will influence and create designs for mechanical components and assemblies, facilitating their release and supporting production.

As a manufacturing engineer your duties may include:
• Investigating the latest precision machining technologies
• Tooling design
• Providing design for manufacturing input on new product design
• Troubleshooting process issues
• Root cause analysis
• Documentation creation and maintenance


Qualifications
  • Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or applicable Sciences
  • 5-7+ years of applicable experience in precision machining, manufacturing and design (part design, product design, and/or process design)
  • Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in and/or lead diverse cross-functional teams
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to prioritize day to day activities balancing immediate needs with long term project goals
  • Solid modeling experience
  • Familiarity with RF, microwave and mm wave applications desired

Pay Range:

USD $111,940.00 - USD $186,570.00 Year
