We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven District Sales Manager to lead our sales organization and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading and building high-performing sales teams, developing strategic sales plans, and exceeding targets in a fast-paced environment.

The role is primarily focused on Keysight’s Networks, Applications and Security (NAS) Business area. This role requires a customer-focused leader and sales professional with deep industry expertise, a strong track record in cybersecurity and networking solutions and the proven ability to lead the local team from the front.

To achieve the growth objectives, the District Manager is expected to drive and coach the team in several critical areas:

  • Channel Sales & Account Management: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow Keysight’s network visibility and security solutions within large Enterprise, Service Provider and NEM accounts.
  • Leadership: Lead a team of sales and channel account managers, provide coaching and challenge to enable top line growth.
  • New Business Development: Help identify, engage, and close new opportunities with NEM, Service Provider, Enterprise and Public organisations.
  • Customer Engagement: Build trusted advisor relationships with Procurement, Networking / IT security teams.
  • Channel & Partner Collaboration: Work closely with resellers, system integrators, and strategic partners to drive joint sales efforts and maximize customer reach.
  • Technical Knowledge & Solution Selling: Develop a deep understanding of Network Testing, network security, threat intelligence, and performance monitoring to position Keysight’s solutions effectively.
  • Quota Attainment: Consistently achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets through strategic selling, negotiation, and customer-centric solutions.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market requirements to provide customers with cutting-edge solutions.

Responsibilities
  • To constantly drive the team to have a broad approach to selling our complete portfolio through the systematic prospection of their accounts for new solutions, software, and services opportunities.
  • Coaching the team to increase the mix of Software, Solutions & Services.
  • Ensure the account and channel managers can create account and business plans that drive growth and engagement across the Keysight organisation.
  • Be a coach to the Account managers in critical negotiations.
  • Coach the team to forecast accurately, to give visibility of upside deals over at least a 6- month period.
  • Coach team to excel in funnel, opportunity, and deal management.
  • Develop and maintain a network of key customer leaders from across a range of key industry segments
  • Utilise the Keysight Leadership Model to drive a growth mindset across your organisation, create and develop a diverse and inclusive team of enthusiastic winning sales professionals.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of sales management experience in leading teams selling into Service Providers, Enterprise networking, cybersecurity, or IT infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of selling network testing/security, monitoring, or visibility solutions to large enterprises and service providers.
  • Experience engaging with C-level executives
  • Strong channel sales experience, working with VARs, resellers, and technology partners.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to travel 50% of time within the DACH/EE region to support the team and meet customers and partners.
  • German Citizenship strongly preferred.
