Responsibilities
  • Coordinates material sourcing, supplier quotations, supplier selection, purchases of direct material and procurement strategy development for new product introduction (NPI) projects, in collaboration with R&D and cross functional teams
  • Negotiating prices & supplier contract, monitoring supplier performance, and developing and executing to the commodity plans.
  • Assures the procurement and inventory management of high technology materials, equipment, and/or services in accordance with supply chain optimization and management objectives.
  • May be responsible for participating in, or leading process improvement efforts, such as in product transfer from inter-site, new product introduction (NPI), resourcing, cost reduction and/or quality.
  • May manage contract manufacturer (CM), original design manufacturer (ODM) and supplier relationships to ensure assurance of supply & inventory optimization
  • Ability to analyze and utilize large data in decision making, achievement of business objectives, and driving best quality solutions, practices and policies
  • Ability to work on a large set of issues and projects at the same time
  • Knowledge and experience in manufacturing or Supply Chain Design
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and remain focused in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics /Programming or equivalent
  • 5-7 years practical experience in an ERP-based supply chain environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications: Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Power BI etc
  • Efficient time management to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, changing environment, with sense of urgency
  • Able to conceive & construct ad-hoc projects in a very independent manner driving for recommendations which are readily actionable
  • Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills
