Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers, sales and/or service representatives across Europe to deliver post-sales customer support, solving technical questions of varied scope and complexity.
  • Manage day to day operations and workload expectations autonomously.
  • Share technical expertise across the team and write deep technical articles for the customer knowledgebase
  • Close cooperation with the Keysight product and software and solution centres. The technical support application engineer is the technical interface between the customers and the Keysight Worldwide support team.
  • Take proactive actions while interacting with customers in terms of solving current questions or addressing potential future needs.
  • Deliver “Getting Started” and “Start Up Assistance” to customers remote and onsite.
  • Develop into the Component Test knowledge expert within KeysightCare for products and solutions

Qualifications
  • B.S. Electrical Engineering / Electronics & Comm or higher degree
  • 10+ years’ experience with Keysight software and HW (e.g., PRT, TA, FTA, UXM, VSA, Propsim, Wavejudge)
  • Customer support and development experience working in one of the following areas: Applications Engineer, EDA Technical Support, Design Flow Enablement, etc.
  • Knowledge of fundamental concepts related to RRC/NAS/MAC/PDCP protocols and well versed with 3GPP specifications
  • Demonstrable interest and commitment as an independent learner
  • Past experience with and/or a willingness to learn programming skills (i.e., Python) on the job
  • Clear written and verbal English communications skills, with the ability to explain sophisticated and complex subjects
  • Experience with presenting detailed technical information or leading training courses
  • Experience with sales and/or customer service; demonstrated ability to build relationships and loyalty with customers
