About the Job: The IT Product Portfolio Manager role will co-create solutions with the business that solve problems, deliver value to users, and help automate business workflows for efficient outcomes. This role is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the business end-users for new IT products and solution development. Responsible for partnering with Sales, Services, Marketing R&D, Order Management, and other stakeholders to deeply understand their business needs, prioritize them against business goals and provide design and development inputs. This is an individual contributor role but will be key to delivering strategic products and solutions that are aligned with Enterprise business objectives and priorities.
About the Team: This position is part of Keysight’s Global Information Technology organization, responsible for driving the IT digital productivity across the company for all employees. The IT Product Portfolio Manager is responsible for turning business requirements into a consumable product. Responsible for working with counterparts on the IT technology teams to deliver product outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and be the subject matter expert by defining vision, strategy, and roadmap for the product go-to-market strategy.
- Identify product offering in end-user understandable ways and effectively translate business requirements with IT to establish well-designed products.
- Facilitate meetings, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines through effective collaboration and communication.
- Draft design documents, gather requirements, build test and deployment plans, manage communications, and own initiatives from inception through rollout.
- Drive IT feature and product development prioritization, roadmap planning and alignment.
- Partner with stakeholders to build user acceptance test cases and perform hands-on testing.
- Target internal stakeholders and identify audience segments to drive demand discovery and align with business priorities.
- Confidently troubleshoot issues, provide support for implementation, and ensure seamless integration and functionality of IT products.
- Drive product adoption by developing training plans & materials along with stakeholder training.
- Manage the IT product portfolio, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Oversee the technical infrastructure and operations to ensure seamless integration and functionality of IT products.
- Collaborate with software and engineering teams to ensure product development aligns with technical requirements and standards.
- Lead and manage technical aspects of projects, ensuring alignment with IT infrastructure, software development, and engineering principles.
- Plan, execute, and close projects successfully using methodologies like Agile and Scrum, including project planning, scheduling, risk management, and resource allocation.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Exhibits emotional intelligence (EQ) needed to conduct stakeholder interviews by demonstrating empathy (business) for users, and successfully observing and documenting user responses.
- Can problem solve and make decisions under rapidly shifting circumstances.
- Demonstrates exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including confidence and comfort for presenting and providing stakeholder training.
- Able to work in a fast paced, global environment demonstrating autonomy in meeting business objectives while adhering to team values.
Desired Qualifications:
- College degree and prior experience in product management.
- Prior experience in managing a product throughout its lifecycle and evaluating both technical and non-technical impacts.
- Ability to prioritize roadmaps using Agile methodologies.
- Agile Certifications are strongly desired (i.e., CSPO, Scrum Certified, etc.).
- Strong problem solving and prioritization skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience effectively working with cross functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and operations.

Santa Rosa, CA pay range MIN $117,750.00 MIDPOINT: $157,000.00 MAX: 196,250.00
Colorado pay range: MIN $109.030.00, MIDPOINT $145,370.00 - MAX $181,720.00
Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
