Responsibilities
- Drive the growth in the Finance and Capital Markets segment in the Americas for Keysight's Visibility portfolio of solutions, and act as product manager on finance focused Visibility products.
- Act as an industry expert to the Sales teams in the Americas and assist them in growing their market and product knowledge.
- Authorize exceptional pricing discounts to Sales teams around the world.
- Working with the Marketing Communication teams, produce sales and marketing materials aimed at both capital markets and retail banking/insurance markets.
- Initiate and direct sales and marketing programs to raise our market presence, generate leads and produce revenue growth.
- Work with Tech Partners to assist them in integrating their products into Keysight’s AppFusion program
- Work with the VP of Finance and Capital Markets on business case justifications for new products.
- Understand how AI is being leveraged within the vertical and the implications for Keysight.
- Solicit input from Sales Teams on new products and feature enhancements.
- Act as escalation point to Sales on clearing roadblocks preventing closure of strategic new opportunities.
- Work with Sales teams in joint client meetings explaining our overall strategy for the vertical.
- Attend conferences to gain feedback on industry trends, staff booths and present Keysight strategies and potentially be part of discussion panels.
- Reporting into the VP Finance and Capital Markets and act as deputy to VP and cover for travel and vacations etc.
Regular travel to local financial centers required plus occasional travel to other financial centers in the USA/Canada.
Qualifications
Experience and Knowledge:
- At least ten years’ experience of Sales or Business Development in the Capital Markets vertical, ideally with some management experience. Track record of success.
- Experience of Business Development function and strategic plan development in high technology products targeting the finance sector.
- Experience of working with Channel Partners
- Experience of working with Tech Partners
- Have extensive client and industry contacts in the Finance vertical
- Have knowledge of Visibility products such as Optical Taps, Network Packet Brokers, Packet Capture and Market Data/Trade Decoding and Analytics.
- Experience of Product Marketing and Product Management in high tech sectors targeting Finance sector.
- Have experience at working in large complex organizations.
- Worked within financial organizations as well as technology vendors.
- Experience of using SFDC for pipeline/sales analysis and authorizing discounts
- “Can Do” attitude to growing revenues
- Ability and track record of working at all customer levels from junior network engineer to C suite executive.
Should be based in either New York or Chicago metro areas.
