Responsibilities

At Keysight, we’re in business to help scientists and engineers address their toughest challenges with precision and confidence. We offer the most precise electronic measurement tools in the industry, along with advanced software to match.We are looking to add a Repair and Calibration Service Technician to our team! The chosen individual will be responsible for the following:

• Perform adjustments, calibrations and basic repairs on Test and Measurement Equipment.• Provide hardware and software support for a wide range of Keysight customers• Solve technical problems of limited scope and complexity.• Work with clearly defined objectives on customer service assignments that may be repetitive in nature.• Provide consistent, solid contribution to team and service center delivery goals.• Adheres to established production processes and is responsible for achieving established team production goals.• Provides internal and external customer satisfaction through effective communication, innovation, and direct application of technical skills.• Exercises good discretion in the use of time and other Keysight resources. Maximizes the use of existing assets, multi-tasks effectively, and ensures Keysight resources are used properly (i.e. connector care, ESD, ETE).• Tests, calibrates/validates and repairs electronic or analytical instruments, products and modules to maintain functionality and accuracy.• Determines and develops approaches to assignments and procedures.
• Responsible for test, repair, preventative maintenance, calibration and refurbishment duties which require planning and judgment.


Qualifications

• This position requires some education, specialized training/certification, or applicable Military experience
• Educational courses related to electrical engineering, integrated circuits, AC/DC fundamentals, fiber optics, telecommunication and other principles of electricity and electronics.

• Must be actively enrolled in a degree program

• Related experience in the calibration and repair of electronic test equipment is preferred

• Experience digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, frequency counters, function generators, and other electronic test equipment is preferred. • Demonstrates electronic and mechanical competence• Exercises good discretion in the use of time and other Keysight resources. Maximizes the use of existing assets, multi-tasks effectively, and ensures Keysight resources are used properly (i.e. connector care, ESD, ETE).• Maintains high workmanship standards and delivers on commitments. Promotes ESD, Service Note compliance, and other programs that are conducive to the delivery of high quality service and minimization of re-repair.• Communicates effectively with internal and external customers. May initiate customer interaction as appropriate. Escalates issues through appropriate channels when necessary. This is done verbally or via written correspondence.• Possesses excellent organizational skills• Exhibits the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with wide range of people
• Adheres to the highest standards of business ethics

Pay Range:

$20-25/hour
