On behalf of the material organization, this person will assure the sales and inventory management of high technology or life sciences production and/or non-manufacturing materials, and/or services in accordance with supply chain optimization and management objectives.
In order to achieve success, the candidate must take initiative to aggressively look for new improvement and lean opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Solves a broad range of procurement support related problems, AOS escalation, issues and lead creative solutions to ensure AOS stability.
- Establishes and manages supplier relationships including MOQ management, support end to end process from reviewing demand and supply, PO management/ processing, rescheduling/ pull list management, shortage closure, On time delivery (OTD), shipment arrangement, Defective Parts Management to avoid impacts to customer’s/ keysight operation
- Effective/ Optimized inventory management
- Responsible for contributing to or leading process improvement efforts to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement
- Willing to support at night (when needed) since suppliers are based in US
Qualifications
- Bachelor or master’s degree (preferably in IT/ computer Science)
- Minimum 5+ years practical experience in an ERP-based supply chain environment
- Proficient in Microsoft applications: Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Power BI etc
- Efficient time management to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, changing environment, with sense of urgency
- Able to conceive & construct ad-hoc projects in a very independent manner driving for recommendations which are readily actionable
- Possess good analytical and problem solving skills
