Overview
We are seeking a part time, passionate and dedicated Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment and supporting students' academic growth. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives through engaging instruction and personalized support. The Educator will work closely with students with varying exceptionalities. Experience working with students diagnosed with ASD an asset. Thorough, paid training is provided.

Duties

• Provide tutoring, academic and communicative support for students ranging in age from 6 to 15 years.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
• Communicate effectively with students and colleagues regarding student performance and needs
• Support students in developing their reading, writing, math and communicative / emotional regulation skills.
• Qualifications
• Prior experience in teaching students with exceptionalities is mandatory
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with children and teens in unique and creative ways
• Demonstrated tutoring experience or background working with children in educational settings
• Ability to create an inclusive, supportive, and motivating learning environment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Passion for education and helping students succeed
• Relevant certifications or educational credentials are a plus

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
