Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Staff Supervisor to join our team. As a Staff Supervisor, you will be a direct report to the Centre Director. You will lead and motivate a team of education therapists, maintaining a positive, communicative and healthy team environment. You will maintain excellent client service with utmost professionalism. You will be an efficient and timely problem solver while nurturing a positive working environment amongst a staff of 25-30. You will be always be empathetic, energetic , creative, and open to new ideas.

Duties

• Liaise directly with the Centre Director.
• Maintain a schedule of working with clients as an education therapist
• Supervise the learning centre in the director’s absence; creatively problem solving issues as they arise with parents, clients and staff
• Manage day-to-day education therapist scheduling issues as they arise
• Manage day to day client scheduling requests as they arise
• Maintain regular staff newsletters
• Assist with the training of new staff
• Ability to self start, work independently and with flexibility
• Qualifications
• Experience working with children, adolescents and young adults
• Confidence to manage a diverse staff
• Comfort with learning new technology
• Excellent command of the English language
• Ability to empathize while maintaining healthy boundaries
• Deadline oriented

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
