Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Math Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment and supporting students' academic growth. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives through engaging instruction and personalized support. The Educator will work closely with students of high school ages utilizing strong communication skills and classroom experience to facilitate effective learning experiences. Thorough, paid training is provided.

Duties

• Provide tutoring and academic support across High School Math, providing comprehension and retention
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence
• Communicate effectively with students and colleagues regarding student performance and needs
• Support students in developing study skills, time management, and critical thinking abilities
• Qualifications
• Prior experience in teaching or tutoring is preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with adolescents
• Demonstrated tutoring experience or background working with children in educational settings
• Ability to create an inclusive, supportive, and motivating learning environment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Passion for education and helping students succeed
• Relevant certifications or educational credentials are a plus

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
