Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging educational content as well as homework support. This role involves working closely with children and students of various age groups, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting their academic growth. The Educator will utilize strong communication skills in English and French to create an inclusive and effective one to one learning experience.

Duties

• Engage students through interactive teaching methods and tutoring sessions
• Create a welcoming one to one learning environment that encourages participation and curiosity
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, goals, and student achievements
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum quality and share best practices
• Adapt teaching strategies based on child dynamic and individual learning styles

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in educational or tutoring settings is preferred
• Classroom teaching experience is highly desirable
• Excellent writing skills
• Demonstrated ability to learn to deliver engaging educational content for diverse learners
• Experience in tutoring or one-on-one instruction is advantageous
• Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity to effectively connect with students from various backgrounds

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 16.0 per week
