We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Planning Intern to join our team at Jabil, Inc. Job Responsibilities
- Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting related to production planning, inventory management, and material forecasting.
- Support the planning team in developing and updating production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with various departments, including production, logistics, and procurement, to ensure seamless execution of planning initiatives.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions regarding planning strategies, process improvements, and problem-solving.
- Help maintain and update planning tools and systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct basic research and analysis to identify potential bottlenecks or areas for improvement within the planning process.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the planning team.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Spanish. *English 80%
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous internship experience in a manufacturing or supply chain setting is a plus, but not required.
