Job Summary
As a Test Technician, you’ll support the development and implementation of testing solutions for electronic products. You’ll work closely with Test Engineers, Manufacturing, and Test Support teams to ensure smooth production processes, high-quality testing, and continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities
- Assist Test Engineers in developing and qualifying test fixtures and programs.
- Help build and assemble testers, fixtures, and environmental tools to meet customer needs.
- Provide clear documentation and training for all test solutions to both Test Support and Manufacturing teams.
- Monitor and improve test performance metrics like yield, efficiency, and uptime.
- Coordinate test readiness based on production schedules and priorities.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to optimize test coverage and reduce costs.
- Ensure all test operations are well-documented and staff are properly trained.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure timely and effective support.
- Perform other related tasks as needed.
- Test Fixture Assembly
- Building and maintaining test setups and tools.
- Documentation & Training – Creating clear guides and training materials for test procedures.
- Test Process Optimization – Improving test coverage, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
- Data Collection & Analysis – Monitoring test yields, uptime, and intermittencies.
- PC & Software Proficiency – Using Windows-based systems and internal software tools (e.g., Jabil’s platforms).
- Basic Math & Graph Interpretation – Calculating rates, ratios, and interpreting visual data.
- Problem Solving – Identifying issues and proposing practical solutions.
- Communication Skills – Explaining technical concepts clearly to different teams.
- Strong understanding of electronics and testing processes.
- Flexibility to work in second shift is required.
- Ability to work with computers and software tools confidently.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Basic math and analytical thinking.
- Experience in a manufacturing or testing environment is a plus.
- Ability to work in shifts (specifically 2nd shift)
