Working with the wider Project Management team, the Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers and Junior Project Managers and for ensuring translation and localization projects are delivered according to IQVIA’s standards and client requirements.

• Day-to-day line management and mentoring of a team of Junior Project Managers, Project Managers and Senior Project Managers
• Lead the effective recruitment and selection of new hires for the team
• Ensure team and individual compliance of relevant and applicable IQVIA procedures and SOPs
• Ensure team and individual adherence to the Quality Management System
• Complete and review robust CAPA plans when issues arise
• Organise the distribution and allocation of translation projects amongst PMs based on project specific requirements
• Act as the primary point of escalation for internal/external clients and manage their requirements accordingly
• Assist in the implementation of new services and processes within the team
• Assist Senior Project Managers in managing client accounts and ensuring successful onboarding
• Ensure team adherence to KPIs and goals, taking relevant actions when not met
• Along with the Training Lead, assist in the training and development of junior staff.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in Project Management in the Language Services industry with experience of people management
• Bachelor's degree, ideally in a linguistic, business or scientific field
• Fluency in English is essential, an additional language would be advantageous
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure that high quality standards are maintained
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and to manage competing priorities and changing demands.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills including the collection, management and presentation of data
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently whilst using own initiative.
• Demonstration of advanced IT skills
• Experience working with TMS and CAT tools, experience working with XTRF and/or memoQ would be highly advantageous
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers and clients
