Job Overview
IQVIA is seeking a Strategic Pricing Analyst to support the development and optimization of innovative pricing models and analytics that enable transformational deals and drive excellence in strategic pricing and sales operations. This role will collaborate cross-functionally to enhance customer engagement, support technology-driven innovation, and streamline pricing processes using lean principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support strategic pricing models that enhance the customer experience and drive commercial excellence.
- Conduct pricing calculations and determine optimal price levels within established models.
- Contribute to the definition and evolution of corporate pricing strategies.
- Perform competitive pricing analyses to support go-to-market strategies and internal governance.
- Provide guidance and support to team members on pricing-related matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and stakeholder engagement.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve pricing processes and tools.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Contracts, Proposals, Business Management, Business Intelligence, IT, or commercial systems technology.
- Familiarity with the contract research and pharmaceutical development industry.
- Proficiency in programming and quality control of complex Excel-based pricing solutions.
- Understanding of costing models and pricing algorithms.
- Knowledge of system integration between pricing and other business systems.
- Strong analytical, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage complex budgets and identify dependencies within pricing models.
- Proven ability to build effective working relationships in a high-performance environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with lean process improvement methodologies.
- Exposure to strategic sales operations or commercial excellence initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
