Medical Monitoring Responsibilities: The position primarily entails serving as a Global or Regional Medical Advisor on projects, offering scientific guidance to project leaders, supporting investigative sites on protocol-related issues, conducting medical reviews of protocols, adverse events, and clinical study reports, and being available around the clock for urgent protocol issues. 1 2
Medical Strategy Contributions: The role includes developing medically sound delivery strategies for complex studies, contributing to client proposals including budgeting for medical monitoring, reviewing protocols for scientific and regulatory feasibility, participating in bid defenses, and engaging in strategic business development activities. 3 4
Qualifications and Skills: Candidates must hold a medical degree with a relevant license and at least five years of clinical medicine experience, with board certification in Rheumatology. Experience in clinical trials, strong communication skills, and up-to-date knowledge of the therapeutic area are required, along with the ability to advise on multiple assignments effectively.
