Job Overview
Supports the Associate Director, FP&A, UKI. The Financial Analyst FP&A will be responsible for supporting the EMEA Finance & Commercial Operations Function in all areas of management information, ranging from standard tasks to assisting in ad-hoc requests and serving as a key contact point with the supported service leads / finance leads.
Responsibilities
Understand the data structure of IQVIA in order to maintain reporting accuracy and to be able to translate business requests into reports that support management insights and decisions
Serves as key contact point with UKI Finance & Operations leadership, reviews monthly results, forecasts/ budgets. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis.
Maintains detailed understanding of internal customer requirements and develop processes that will meet or exceed these requirements.
Be familiar with, and ensure compliance with, internal financial accounting procedures and policies.
Ensures all financial and accounting records are thoroughly maintained and complete in preparation for independent audits.
Prepare and perform comprehensive quality checks on every report as standard; troubleshoot issues and find solutions as required; propose process improvements to minimize occurrence of issues
Month End close processes and procedures for P&L including preparing relevant journals; Preparation and review of monthly variance analysis; Completion and review of month end expenses and accruals & Preparation of various Month end Drill downs of Revenue and Costs.
Automation of finance reporting
Assistance in the preparation of SOX and Internal/External audit requirements
Support on integration of UK acquisitions into SAP
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Skills
Technical accounting skills, Good analytical and numeracy skills
Knowledge of financial systems, including ERP applications and reporting suites such as Hyperion / Peoplesoft
Ability to identify financial issues and execute mitigating actions.
Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients
