This role will drive the go-to-market strategy for the solution sales team and sales engineers supporting the Technology & Enterprise Enablement organization. The senior leader in this role is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating activities of the T&EE sales organization to achieve financial and strategic growth goals.

The role is responsible for promoting, recommending and selling solutions, products and services to other individuals and organizations. This includes developing, managing, and implementing sales strategies, identifying potential customers, and cultivating existing customer relationships to close deals.

Develops, grows, and maintains the relationship between the organization and clients, with a focus on client retention, sales and revenue growth. Works closely with sales specialists to coordinate the best solution for the client.

Gets client referrals and increasing amount or type of coverage for existing accounts; liaises between internal teams, vendors and clients on an ongoing basis to ensure service delivery; and serves as a primary contact on an ongoing basis by addressing ad hoc client requests and managing client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Plans, directs and coordinates activities of a major segment of the sales organization to achieve financial and strategic growth goals.
  • Directs the activities of a sales team within assigned area to achieve/exceed the assigned revenue and growth goals.
  • Provides leadership to Account Directors to expand scope of existing contracts and identify new business opportunities.
  • Develops relationships with key executives and decision makers within large and strategic accounts.
  • Provides operational leadership to the sales organization.
  • Collaborates with IQVIA marketing, consulting, and client services in developing strategies to promote the full IQVIA portfolio of products and consulting services to anticipate and meet client needs.
  • Provides direction to Account Directors in developing and executing comprehensive account plan(s) and monitors progress against plans.
  • Assigns accounts/territories and associated revenue goals to teams.

Requirements:

  • 12 years of prior relevant experience
  • Requires advanced business knowledge, general management and leadership capability to lead business or functional teams.
  • Bachelors Degree required, Masters degree preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of IQVIA offerings and pharmaceutical industry.
  • Successful track record in sales management role in motivating sales organizations to consistently achieve assigned revenue and growth goals.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $154,800.00 - $431,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
