Job Overview:

Designs/develops software solutions requiring general domain knowledge and developing business experience. Analyzes user requirements/needs and makes decisions within limited parameters under regular supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust backend solutions using Java Spring Boot.
• Write and execute unit tests with good code coverage.
• Utilize AWS services, including Containers, OpenAPI, API Gateway, IAM, and OIDC.
• Design and develop SOA/microservices architecture.
• Design and implement user interfaces with Angular V18, creating single-page applications (SPA).
• Collaborate with the team to implement treatment algorithms into applications.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to good coding practices and Agile methodologies.
• Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support.
• Use tools like JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint for project management and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 5 to 8 years of proven work experience as a Backend Developer.
• Extensive experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate, Maven/Gradle, Unit Testing, and Microservices.
• Strong command of design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Proficiency in documenting APIs using the OpenAPI standard.
• Experience in test-driven development with Junit and Mockito.
• Knowledge of Spark (EMR/Databricks) and AWS services.
• Familiarity with containers, API Gateway, IAM, and OIDC.
• Understanding of SOA/microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with software development tools, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Extensive experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
