Job Description:
Experienced Business Analyst with a background in Commercial Operations and/or Finance to drive the alignment of our enterprise data and understand the underlying business processes impacting our data reporting. The candidate will play a critical role in our endeavor to build an enterprise data warehouse, where data from enterprise systems are consolidated. Their primary responsibilities will include driving capturing requirements, alignment of the requirements across business units, work on standardizing definitions, and validation of rules in the data warehouse.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with high-level executives and departmental representatives, including representatives from finance, sales and commercial operations to drive alignment across business units.
- Understand, document, and map the underlying business processes that impact data reporting.
- Work with multiple stakeholders on the standardization of definitions of KPIs and other essential data structures across all business units.
- Work closely with executives and BI developers to provide insights into business processes and data requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend changes that will improve data integrity and reporting.
- Assist in the analysis of new systems and data as the company continues to grow.
- Additionally, ad-hoc support in reporting sales and financials for management meetings, reviews and budget planning
- Run validations against the data warehouse to ensure data accuracy and consistency, when needed.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree or MBA is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analyst role, preferably in a data-intensive environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with high-level executives and various business units.
- Sales, Commercial Ops, Finance and/or strategy experience.
- Strong understanding of business processes and their relation to data and systems.
- Strong experience in process mapping methodologies
- Experience with lean methodology is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Experience writing SQL queries for validation and analysis, is nice to have
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices, is nice to have
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools (PowerBI) is an advantage.
