Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager or Hospital Sales Specialist in Sweden to cover the Nordics and Netherlands following the recent launch of a highly anticipated monoclonal antibody product in Nephrology Rare Diseases (specifically Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH) and Atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (aHUS)).
Territory: Nordics and Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Commercial Activities: Manage commercial activities across the Nordics and Netherlands.
- Stakeholder Interaction: Engage with hospital stakeholders (high-cost drug pharmacists, clinicians, hospital managers) to promote the uptake of the biosimilar product, delivering value-added products while improving patient access and support.
- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure decision-makers have all necessary information for maximal adoption and prescribing.
- Market Positioning: Establish the company as a trusted partner in the biosimilars/biologics market.
- Data Collection: Gather and report relevant information such as competitor data, treatment patterns, and product prescribing criteria.
- Sales Growth: Ensure the achievement of sales and market share growth.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Market Access: Market access experience is essential.
- Pharmaceutical Experience: Previous experience dealing with buyers and high-cost drug pharmacists within hospitals is required.
- Specialized Knowledge: Ideally, candidates will have experience in nephrology diseases (experience with Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH), Atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (aHUS), or complement inhibitors is particularly valuable). Candidates with experience in hospital biosimilars, haemophilia or rare diseases are also encouraged to apply.
- Educational Background: Life Sciences (e.g., Pharmacy, Biomedical, Medical and Public Health), Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Economics, or equivalent.
- Sales Experience: At least 3-5 years in a pharmaceutical sales role dealing with specialist customer groups at the hospital level.
- Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and manage strong relationships with both external and internal customers, with a track record of developing impactful business partnerships.
- Team Player: Strong team player with resilience, leadership qualities, and collaboration skills.
- Innovative Thinking: Entrepreneurial attitude, creative, innovative thinker with excellent presentation and influencing skills.
- Language Skills: Must be fluent in English. Fluency in one or more Nordic languages or Dutch is highly desirable.
- Travel: Willingness to travel regularly throughout the territory.
- Driving License: Full driving license essential.
