The Opportunity on IQVIA’s PXS Consulting Team

We are seeking a strategy Consultant to join our team and immediately have an impact in delivery of our projects and growth of our service offerings. This is a tremendous opportunity for those looking to gain a deeper knowledge of the life sciences industry, gain core consulting skills, and to improve how patients engage with pharma companies.

Our team is a critical part of our broader Patient Centered Solutions (PCS) portfolio that leads the industry in the breadth and depth of clinical outcomes assessment (COA), sensor-derived COAs and patient reported outcome (PRO) knowledge. The PXS team works closely with a diverse group of colleagues with scientific, behavioral, and technology expertise to drive innovation in the areas of study retention, endpoint compliance, and patient experience to advance the strategic priorities of life science companies.

A successful PXS Consultant will have the following impact:

• Participate in projects focused on patient experience data and technology, by conducting literature reviews, developing qualitative interview/focus group guides, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and synthesizing and reporting insights and client recommendations

• Support development of strategies, roadmaps, and frameworks to improve how our customers engage with patients to improve patient experience data collection in studies

• Deliver high-quality and compelling deliverables and presentations to our clients

• Contribute to internal initiatives to grow and expand our patient-focused and digital consulting service offerings

• Contribute to business development activities, including proposals

• Help communicate our view of patient engagement in the study setting to our customers

What the successful candidate brings to IQVIA:

• 3+ years’ experience in consulting / research within the pharmaceutical, healthcare and/or related industry; experience within pharma R&D, RWE/D, and/or patient digital technology (including eCOA) highly preferred

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in (public health, psychology, health economics, healthcare technology, engineering, or similar); advanced degree highly preferred

• Past experience and/or interest in digital and sensor-based technologies

• Passion to partner with patients throughout the drug development process to improve experience and outcomes Demonstrable analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly, adapt and apply new knowledge

• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including presentations, workshop facilitation, business and report writing

• Strong capability in juggling priorities so that deadlines are met while retaining consistently high-quality outcomes

• Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries
