In addition, regular collaboration with senior leadership and key stakeholders to deliver world-class HR support to clients is key.

Essential Functions:

  • Understands business partner/client markets and translates goals into proactive human resources plans to enable successful achievement of business results.
  • Provides guidance and oversees management of human resources activities such as recruitment, performance reviews, benefits, training, employee relations, and resolves problems requiring senior management intervention.
  • Establishes people plans with business leaders and ensures alignment with GBU-wide people strategies. Helps local leaders build strong talent pipelines through effective succession planning, Leadership Development Reviews, and talent roundtable activities.
  • Develops the capabilities of line managers and employees and enhances HR processes to ensure an effective employee life-cycle experience.
  • Develops and implements near-term human resources plans that are effective in addressing organization issues and are consistent with business goals.
  • Communicates human resources strategies, initiatives, and processes to client businesses.
  • Provides HR related data insights to the HR and business leadership to support decision making.
  • Shares insights and recommendations on cost containment opportunities through workforce planning, headcount management, hiring support, compensation planning activities.
  • Assists in resolving employee relations and communications issues by proactively analyzing and communicating findings to management along with solutions to enhance current state; in designing and implementing changes in organizational structure and processes; and in analyzing trends within the organization in turnover, hiring, promotions and separations to determine support or action needed to adjust unfavorable trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 6+ years’ experience as a generalist or combination of generalist and specialist experience.
  • 2+ years direct line management experience.
  • Experience operating with senior/executive management teams.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of human resources policies and procedures as well as national and local laws.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional relationship building skills with consultative approach.
  • Ability to create and present compelling, professional PowerPoint presentations.
  • Strong data analysis experience.
  • Strong consulting experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a flexible environment, as well as with a team.
  • Strong knowledge of CRO, CSO or pharmaceutical and other related business industries preferred.
  • Very high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Good ability to work in a matrix environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
  • Professional HR accreditation preferred but not required.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $102,200.00 - $189,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
