How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
As a part of our team, you will:
- Apply knowledge of methodology and practices of social science research.
- Work with cross-functional team members to define and prioritize research and develop UX metrics.
- Conduct empirical research to identify and extract meaningful patterns of user behavior.
- Generate user experience insights that will help drive product improvements.
- Currently a candidate for a Master's, Bachelor’s degree, or Diploma in Human Psychology, Human-Centred Design, Anthropology, Sociology, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.
- Experience working across disciplines with designers, engineers, developers, and product teams
- Experience in applied product research and design thinking techniques is an asset. A user-focused approach to research is essential.
- Strong ability to communicate research findings and present suggestions in clear and engaging ways.
- Experience in moderating qualitative research.
- User experience tools & skills, such as Figma, and design thinking skills.
- A portfolio of work you’ve done that demonstrates the research methods that you learned about user needs while conducting the research.
