How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
As a part of our team, you will:
- Create UX specifications for web-based applications.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Apply expert knowledge of user-centered design principles.
- Provide creative and innovative problem-solving solutions.
- Take initiative in design work and contribute both unaided and in a team, with strong teamwork skills.
- Learn and apply the Nokia design system to drive consistency in the design you create.
- Currently a candidate for a Master's, Bachelor’s degree, or Diploma in User Experience Design, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.
- Experience working across disciplines with designers, engineers, developers, and product teams
- A user-centric approach to experience design.
- Experience with UX tools and skills such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Miro.
- The ability to clearly communicate results and present suggestions creatively and compellingly.
- A portfolio demonstrating your design methods and rationale behind your solutions.
- Strong visual skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Professionalism with the ability to deliver quality work on tight schedules.
- Experience with design thinking and facilitating workshops & Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
