Job Description

As a Technical Project Manager at Nokia, you will lead the technical delivery strategy for mobile core products, overseeing project execution from pre-sales to operational transition. You will collaborate with various teams to manage resource demand and ensure alignment with project scopes and quality standards. Your role emphasizes mentoring project teams, driving innovation, and maintaining communication on project impacts. With a strong focus on best practices and performance, you will contribute to milestone approvals and resource quality adherence while leveraging your extensive experience in integration, budgeting, and evolving technologies to achieve key project goals.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Lead the technical delivery strategy, ensuring adherence to project scopes, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Manage project lifecycle from pre-sales engagement to delivery and transition operations.
  • Collaborate with Central Delivery Services to forecast project resource demand and capacity.
  • Evaluate and communicate changes to project scope, timeline, or requirements effectively.
  • Support pre-sales efforts by optimizing costs for service offerings and non-blueprint solutions.
  • Facilitate collaboration among technical teams to drive innovation and solve complex challenges.
  • Provide mentorship to project teams, promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure delivery aligns with domain scope, quality standards, and key revenue milestones.

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in Technical Project Management and services/care delivery
  • Excellent knowledge of Mobile Core Products (One-NDS/SDL, HLR, HSS, EIR, MNP, AAA & CSD)
  • Proficient in software development, integration services, CI/CD, and automation frameworks
  • Strong leadership, influencing, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking both English and Japanese

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience in cost control and budgeting
  • Adaptability to new technologies, tools, and evolving client requirements
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating with development teams
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and blueprints
  • Experience working in a matrix organization with virtual, multi-cultural teams
